Sea: In Bundelkhand, Parag (test) is a practice that has affected not just one but many villages. Not only this, under this practice, the entire village has to suffer the punishment for one person’s mistake. When Parag is imposed, neither the seven rounds are taken, nor the bride is sent off, nor the groom is able to ride a horse. As soon as a person or a cow is killed, it is considered that Parag has been imposed in the village. According to an estimate, due to this practice, in the last 10 years, 975 families of 12 villages had to go outside the village to get married.

The accused has to perform Tulsi-Shaligram marriage. According to his capacity, a Kanya and Gram Bhoj has to be organized.
